I would give this place NEGATIVE stars if I could. I have NEVER done business with anyone as RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL as “Carmel” at Payday Express at 6800 Balboa Blvd. #F, Van Nuys, CA 91406. This woman has a serious chip on her shoulder! Sadly, she seems to feel the need to TRY and evoke a negative reaction from the very clients who support her own earnings. Misery loves company! She spoke over me each time I attempted to answer her overly personal questions and accusations towards me; none of which had anything to do with the status of my account. She attempted to belittle me and treat me as if I am beneath her royal highness because I had lowered myself to accept her dirty money in the form of a payday loan. I have good credit and simply opted for some quick cash when I needed it for an unexpected expense. NEVER AGAIN! I regret ever stepping foot in that run down location. There is a constant turnover of employees, because, I imagine that no one can stand working with her. I intend to relinquish my business with this low budget, hole-in-the-wall crooked establishment. I would strongly suggest that you STEER CLEAR of this shady business and BEWARE of this disgusting human being! I will now be forced to place additional security measures on my credit report, change my phone number after fifteen years, and close my bank account… all in order to avoid being swindled any further by this dump. You will regret ever having reduced yourself to engage in such low class antics. I wish someone would have warned me!
