Horribly dishonest company. Bait and switch masters. Cardinal Roofing wrote a $1900 estimate to repair a small porch roof that had been damaged. After repairing it a month late I received a bill for nearly $3000. No phone call or explanation just a bill after it was done. I called the owner Roger to question the bill and I asked -who authorized any additional work ? Roger literally screamed at me saying “he didn’t need any authorization because I signed the estimate” He further stated “he would come after me and get his money & put a lien on my house” The estimate Cardinal Roofing wrote clearly said the $1900 was for all labor and materials needed to repair the roof. The extra $1000 was for wood (they say) that was needed to complete the repair. However the cracked, broken and damaged wood was clearly visible at the time Cardinal Roofing inspected the roof and wrote the estimate. Professionals do not miss on an estimate by 50%. Unless it’s to get the job and the price gouge after the fact. Seriously…..how do you people sleep at night?

Cardinal Roofing and Technologies came highly recommended to me and I now see why! We met with a few roofing companies, but after we met with Cardinal the choice was made! They were honest and upfront about everything. They were fast about getting the process started. Their crew was VERY polite, clean and they did not stop working! They kept a clean site everyday and their head guy made sure to communicate with me everyday about progress. We love how our roof came out and appreciate Cardinal's advice on the solar technology we added! I will absolutely recommend Cardinal Roofing and Solar Technologies to all my friends, family and clients!

They do a pretty good job before you pay them. But it seems like they send their incompetent employees out to do warranty work.

I had a similar experience with Cardinal Roofing to the other reviewer. We had a leak in our roof that caused some celing damage back in May. Cardinal roofing came out and fixed the leak (which took approximately 10-15 min, costing close to $400). I then had to hire a company to come out and fix the water damage to the ceiling. Four months later, the ceiling damage recurred in the exact spot. I called Cardinal roofing who came out and apparently fixed the roof again. After the "re-repair" , I realized they didn't fix the ceiling damage. So I called and talked to the owner, Roger, who basically told me that the warranty only covers the roof, nothing else. He said that even though they likely repaired the roof improperly, or misjudged the repair, the ceiling damage was not their fault. He told me they are not insured and they can't just repair everything that gets damaged under an old roof. Either the owner of cardinal roofing is slow, or he is a terrible business man. I told Roger that I would be filing a BBB complaint and he said to go right ahead. Do yourself a favor and find another roofing company. Don't get stuck with immoral amateurs who won't back up their work!

Unfortunately I cannot give Cardinal Roofing a good review. Cardinal Roofing does not honor their warrant. A few months after they replaced my roof I called them to let them know that a leak was causing damage to the stucco on my house. They came over once and billed me for a poorly done repair that should have been covered by the warranty. And it did not fix the problem. I'm left fighting a bill and trying to get them to correct the repairs. It looks like I am going to have to hire someone else to fix the roof and the stucco. Avoid Cardinal Roofing.

When I had my roof installed, I thought that Cardinal did a great job. However I soon learned that they do not honor their warranty. Stay away from Cardinal.
