We went on Saturday niight, ordered steak and mushroom quesadillas, and the burito, the steak tasted like leftovers and had no flavor , so I tasted the chicken on the burrito ,it was bland and dried out, so I told the waitress it was awful and dried out. she said sorry and brought us the check , when we paid she said she would tell the chef about it . I told her don't bother we won't be back, she never offered to talk to the manager, not looking for free food but hate paying for bad food we did not eat!

Excellent food, fantastic service, reasonable prices! I really enjoyed all the menu choices, it was really hard to make up my mind! We will definitely be going back to try some other menu selection!! This is a remodeled burger king and you would never know it--they did a fabulous upgrade on this building! Nice decor and pleasant atmosphere, complete with flat screen TV's in the corners of each room for the sports fans. Overall, I have to give La Cabana FIVE stars!

Delicious food, great service, great prices. We asked to be seated on the patio because it was such a nice evening. Great experience and will return!

GREAT FOOD, fair prices, nice place. Best Mexican restaurant in Valpo.Heard from a friend that the food and margaritas were top notch, so my fiance and I went there for lunch on Sunday, July 1st. Atmosphere was pleasant--they had obviously spent some time on the decor bring nice without feeling too kitchy. Very clean, bright and airy.The service was pleasant and very prompt.The food was outstanding. Burrito loco was full of very tender and well-spiced meats and their tice is not the typical orange stuff you usually expect from mediocre mexican places. It was light and fluffy and seasoned nicely. The steak fajitas went over well with my fiance, and we both liked their queso dip. Unfortunately, I didn't sample the margaritas myself, but I will certainly be going back. They have a nIce little bar as well.Prices were $7-12 for most entrees with a substantial a la cart menu for $2-5 per item. Overall, I'd say it's a nicer place with better food than any of the other Mexican food options in Valpo, so go check it out!
