This review is for Stop and Shop, Unionville.

I have been to the store many times for the convenience of locale.When comparing it to other Stop and Shops there's a big difference. The selection of foods and other goods is not so great. The prices are higher as well. Once I went to get bird food for my parakeets and they just didn't carry it. All stores have bird food but not this one. The overall selection is less than other members of the chain. Aldis is an excellent switch for shoppers feeling ripped off and the results can be seen when you shop there. A buck goes further.

They have the best choices of fruits and vegetables. Overall, I recommend going to this grocery store. The staff are very nice and helpful. This store is great to shop at.

I visited this store earlier today and was dismayed by the lack of selection and the poor performance of the two elderly female cashiers. As I greeted the ladies with a "good morning," I received no response. They ignored me for about 10 seconds while they continued their conversation. Finally I interrupted with an "excuse me," to get these lazy ladies to do their jobs. After finishing ringing up my items, the one on the register gave a really rude attitude as if I had ruined her day by asking her to ring up my items.



The only reason that this review gets 3 stars as opposed to 1 star is the helpful fellow in the meat dept. He was very polite and professional.
