I recently saw him a few months ago for some problems with missed periods and cramping problems I had been having. I went to his office and waited over an hour for him to finally see me, when he did finally see me and do the exam, it was awful! He kept positioning the tool he was using wrong and was causing me excruciating pain! I begged him to stop the exam several times because of the pain I was in and all he did was say sorry and continue after I begged him to stop. I had tears in my eyes when he finally finished taking the samples he needed and he then proceeded to do the internal exam. He caused me even more pain during the internal exam and even when I had severe pain he proceeded to tellme that he would do some basic tests, but that he didn't find anything wrong. he sent me home and I experienced such Heavy bleeding, that I thought I was dying! I went back to his office, due to the fact that our local ER can't usually do anything regarding these types of problems and he didn't even bother to take a second look at me despite my being in pain and bleeding out. He then proceeded to tell me he thought I was just depressed, that I was too young to have any type of problem, that I was as healthy as anyone my age and that I should see a therapist. I haven't seen him since and I have since found out that he botched the tests he was doing and contaminated the sample. He should have ordered a retest, but instead decided not to bother. I am now, since I survived, changing gynecologists. My advice is, don't ever see this man!

I have had the worst experiences with Raj Rathod and his office. Every visit to his office the wait was longer than an hour. I can understand that you may have to wait because of an emergency but his office would routinely schedule 3 people for the same time. On more than one occasion I had an appointment at 9 am, the office opens at 9am and at 10:30 I would still be waiting. I put up with the wait because I was recommended to this "Dr." by my old obgyn who recently retired. I was 4 + months pregnant, on blood thinner and suffering a miscarriage, I went to Uniontown Hospital where my "Dr." happened to be on call, he sent me to Pittsburgh (an hour away) for no logical reason. Halfway en route to Pittsburgh, I delivered the fetus in the car and almost died of blood loss. This guy is AWFUL and his staff is RUDE!!!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS GUY.
