Horrible service. From the person answering the phones to the repairman all they were interested in was to sell me a $600/year warranty rather than repair my 4 year old kenmore elite refrigerator. Called on a Monday and they said it would be Friday before they could come out. After they came out they said compressor had failed and would order parts and they would be shipped to me. Parts arrived the following Friday by UPS coming only 100 miles away. Had to call back to see whe tech was coming to make repair. Tech came out and installed compressor and again tried to sell warranty. Also wife had to sign an agreement with tech that if he damaged floors or walls while making repairs he was not responsible. REALLY!! Repairs were made on Tuesday and refrigerator will not cool properly. Had to call back to make another appointment to get tech back out. I have been without refrigerator for three weeks now. I called on May 23 and was told first available time was June 4th to come back out but I would not be charged unless they found a different problem and needed to give credit card number and again went into sales pitch to sell me a $600/ year warranty. So now I’m going into week 4 with broke refrigerator and over a week to go before anyone comes back to see why their repair didn’t work. And they wonder why their goin broke!

Our Sears Washing machine has been repaired 6 times in the last 2 months and now is broken again. My wife is 77 years old and the stress is about to kill her. We need to get some help with a new machine. We have a service policy but they don't seem to be able to fix it. Please give us some help so we can start washing clothes again. My Craftsman yard tractor, which was only on it's 3rd year, had the weld break that attached the mower deck to the tractor. APPARENTLY this is quite common since the deck material is so thin. Sears could fix this by welding an "L" bracket to the current mount to increase the strength and a cross brace which would amount to less than a $2 increase in production cost versus an $1100 + repair, which if you don't keep your machine clean they will deny your claim! The service technician was OUTSTANDING! He came and checked the mower (Sears denies the claim if your mower is dirty, but I keep mine clean after each cutting). On the day he came to fix it I was his first stop and again he was there about 7:30, fixed it quickly, mowed about 1/4 of my yard to test it and cleaned up any mess he made. He respected my property. GREAT JOB!
