Charged me over $700 to fix a water leak under a mobile home. Soaked my wooden floor. He fixed the leak though. Normal rate is $150 hour which is about how long it took.

My AC stopped working a few days ago so I called Banks Quarles to come look at it, they told me how much it would cost to send someone out to diagnose the problem and I gave them the go ahead to send someone. Their technician figured out that my condenser had gone out and quoted me a pretty pricey figure to replace it, but I agreed to the price and paid him the down payment.

The next morning, he calls me back and says that he messed the quote up yesterday and it is going to cost me $1700 more. I told him that was not ok and that I would like to have my down payment, minus the cost for him coming out, refunded back to me. He apologized for messing up and agreed to pay it back.

Since I was at work, I had my wife go pick it up. They refused to give her all the money back. They charged us almost three times what I was told it would cost for them to diagnose my problem. When she told them that wasn't the right amount they were very rude to her, and even threatened to charge her more! On top of all this, the company that I found to replace them is charging us significantly less to fix it. What a rip off! Never use this company, they will try to take advantage of you!

Worst Service Ever

This company charged $230 to raise a single light in my house. The technician was late, talked my ear off, and came without the proper equipment to do the job. The receptionist kept fobbing me off and giving me false information about EVERYTHING. Will never do business with this company again.

Brent was on time, incredibly professional, explained exactly what he was doing, and didn't mind me asking questions. He didn't try to hard sell me anything, and filled out the paperwork for me just in case I decided to renew my maintenance plan in the future.

I called this company to check our heat pump because it was running all the time. He came out and said nothing was wrong with it but it needed cleaning. He cleaned it out but spent the majority of the time he was here trying to sell me their maintenance agreement, which I hate. My heat pump still runs all the time.

I've used Banks Quarles several times over the years and have always gotten great service at a good price. Everybody from the technicians to the ladies in the office are very friendly and helpful. They always explain everything clearly and are very courteous.

We received 5 star service. Greg B., our tech was fabulous! Not only did he immediately resolve our furnace problem but he took the time to answer our questions concerning the problem. He was on site the same day shortly after calling Banks Quarles. We have also used their company for plumbing issues and got the same results. If you have a plumbing, heating, or cooling issues, Banks Quarles is the company you need to call. Their pricing is very fair and you cannot beat their service.

This place is way to expensive. 425.00 to run a snake down my sewer line from the clean out to the road, and charged me $50.00 for coming out even though I told them over the phone what I wanted done. I was told they can't give est over the phone with out their plumber looking at it. Yeah he looked at it, walked up my drive way and looked down at his feet and said what I told him was right. Wasted $50.00 and still have a stopped up line. Don't use these guys unless you have money to burn!!!!!

They worked very hard to try and get someone out immediately. I understand there were other calls ahead of me but they continued to work with me and let me know if someone was available yet. I finally agreed on a 8am appointment time b/c everyone was tied up. Their tech, Matthew Howton, came early and was very informative and efficient. Even though I choose to wait for a 8 am appointment I would call them again. They were very helpful in a very stressful situation of all my plumbing being backed up. Together we came to a solution that worked for us and I appreciate the patience, understanding and sympathy they showed me.

They responded in very timely manner, found the problems and even installed the heater/AC unit on a Saturday so my mother-in-law would have heat on her arrival. They got the unit up and running and all the bells and whistles on the following Monday. Every day they arrived on time and completed each step. The techs were very professional and even killed some black widows for us.

This company does BAD BUSINESS! The plumber cut a line and caused water damage in our house. The company refused to pay for it and said it was not their fault. He caused several thousand dollars in damages....not to mention the "astronomical" price we paid for services.Stay away from this business!!!

i Enjoyed the experience i had with banks quarles, they were very through and arrived at my house, faster than any other company could. They were up front with their pricing and when the work was done, i felt confident that it was done properly and correctly. I would recommend them to anybody who wants the job done right the first time. Still no problems and my a/c is working very well in this hot weather thanks to Banks Quarles
