I post reviews on the Web very very rarely, but two days ago I got an experience with ED'S PLUMBERS that I cannot rate other than exceptional. This company did re-piping for my entire house 10 years ago. Right after they changed the pipes, I noticed that in two taps in the master bedroom, the flow was very week. But somehow I thought that it would "fix itself" and did not contact ED'S PLUMBERS right away. The more I waited, the more I dreaded the idea that I needed to call them and they would probably make a mess in my house fixing this problem, so I never called. Until two days ago. 10 years later!!! Yeah, yeah, I know how that sounds...Crazy, right?! The reason I called now - we started renovating the bathroom with expensive tile, vanity, appliances, etc and I suddenly realized that I needed to fix this problem now, before we complete the renovation... I reluctantly called them expecting to hear polite but something, in essence: "Are you out of your mind, calling us 10 years after the work is done?!". But no! The representative, Stephanie, was absolutely businesslike and friendly, saying: "We gave you lifetime warranty and we did mean it. Expect our technician the day after tomorrow". Then the technician, ED showed up - on time (they even sent me an email and gave me a call 30 minutes prior to his arrival). The guy was very friendly and SUPER professional. (One of those professionals that move with seemingly "no haste" pace, doing 3 times more than a guy who runs around like fighting a fire :-)). ED. spent, probably 30 minutes in my house. He came with a truck full of equipment and tools, figured out what went wrong (there were pieces of wood in the angle stops that accidentally got there during installation), fixed it, connected a valve with a pressure meter to verify that the pressure was standard and left. ED did not leave a single footprint in my house (every time he left to pick some tools and came back, he was putting plastic covers on his shoes - even though my house was in a state of "renovation project mess"). He did not leave any bills either - I was not charged a single penny. Guys, think of it for a minute!!! 10 years after the initial work, they come, inspect and fix "without a hiccup" - but with a smile. It gives me an awe and the pride for American Service Model in general and for ED'S PLUMBERS in particular! Dealing with companies like this gives you a peace of mind for any serious work. Ed was awesome. Very nice man, reasonably priced (especially for a Sunday), clean and efficient! We’ll use Ed's Plumbers for any future needs.
