The Lee County Sheriff's Department offers professional public services to the citizens of Lee County, Miss. It protects community from burglaries, robberies, thefts, sex crimes, domestic violence, and assaults and frauds in addition to medical emergency response, traffic management and patrol services. The department also offers criminal identification and investigations, administers summons and execution services on the direction of civil, federal and state courts. The Lee County Sheriff's Department maintains narcotics, training, criminal investigation, jail support, and senior and medical services divisions, as well as a juvenile detention center and various programs for youths. The department has an office in Tupelo, Miss.
