From my own experience with the Geisinger Medical Group, I have this warning: Beware of the doctors, lurking in the underworld and slithering in the cesspools of the Medical Establishment. If you are taking medications from another practitioner who is specialist, BEWARE of sharing that information with the Geisinger Medical Group. To protect yourself, have a document placed in your file that specifically states, "You may not provide any of my medical information to another practitioner, unless you are presented with a customized medical release form from SAID practioner; you are FORBIDDEN to use a Geisinger Group medical release form as permission to send information to another practitioner and such documents will be null and void." The Geisinger Group used their own form to distribute false allegations against me to a specialist practitioner. Although the allegations were PROVEN WRONG by a MEDICAL TEST, the specialist could not put the Geisinger Group behind her.
