Had an easy no brainer case. Paid upfront. Only had one meeting with the paralegal that was abrupt, and I didn't feel she wanted to be there. Wrote many emails that were not answered... finally after third email, they filed the wrong paperwork, offering to serve someone who wasn't supposed to be served!!! Yikes, I had no idea until I received copies of the filing in the mail. I emailed them their error with a copy of my original request- and asked them to fix it. They wrote me back an stating that they had dropped my case, and sent me the bill for everything they had done wrong. In the email, Mr Madison said if I emailed or called again on this matter, they would charge me a huge amount. Thank goodness I did not choose them to be my advocate in any sort of conflict! I could not believe this actually happened. I am still pinching myself that a law firm could be running with such a lack of professionalism and conflict resolution.
