My car was acting up, shifting hard so I took it to a well known transmission shop in Tulsa. After three hours of waiting they told me I needed a new transmission and it was going to cost me a ton of money. I was upset naturally and called my friend to vent my frustrations. My friend told me to stop by HHH Transmission on the way home for a second opinion as he had always had good dealings with them. HHH Transmissions looked at my car right away. It took them less than 15 minutes to figure out the real problem--my transmission fluid was almost empty!!! They refilled it and didn't even charge me. It totally fixed the problem. I can't recommend HHH Transmission enough. They are honest, fast, and kind. If you want a trustworthy mechanic shop go to this place. You won't be disappointed.

These guys are amazing. When my car wouldn't shift properly, I called a few other shops and they all gave me outrageous prices and said I would need an entirely new transmission.. I called HHH, and spoke with a man named Chris. He asked me the problems and told me a few possibilities, but said that they were all relatively cheap, considering the alternative. Ultimately, they had to replace a solenoid (Something that I had never even heard of!) and that only cost me $345, and four months later, my 2006 Chrysler is still driving perfectly. I would recommend them to anyone. It seemed like a really honest place and no one tried to convince me to let them do anything that wasn't necessary. They fixed the problem, gave me my car back, and there haven't been any problems since. Their warranty was also more than I expected for what was done. It shows that they have pure confidence in their work to guarantee the part for as long as they did. If I ever have problems again, I will definitely go back.

I will NEVER recommend this place! Took my car in to find out what was wrong with transmission. They kept it over the weekend. Right before my car broke down i filled the tank with gas.. FULL. Gas was near $4. When i picked it up.. it had less than a half tank. I noticed on my bank statement that i was charged $25 for not having enough funds. Found out while they had my car they drove it from Tulsa to Bristow via turnpike and ASSUMED it was ok to use my pikepass.. I was charged and since i didnt know... i couldnt get to bank in time.

When i picked up my car the desk guy was rude and let us know that we interrupted his lunch. That is ALL he said. Went outside to wait for my car to be brought to me. A four wheel crappy lawnmower or something was rammed into the back of my car in the garage. The guy pulled it out and instead of bringing it to the front door like MOST mechanics do.. he left it right there and had me walk over to get the key.

I know this may be my fault for leaving it... but i also had a $10 bill taken too.

To test drive a car... we have plenty of FREE highways! And why go to bristow?!!

I am beyond outraged!!

VERY BAD.....SO UNSATISFIED, THEY GAVE ME WRONG DIAGNOSIS, DIDN'T DO WORK THEY TOLD ME THEY WOULD. I THOUGHT THEY DID GREAT JOB AT FIRST, READ BELOW FOR REAL DEAL.... I WILL NEVER RETURN.

MY TRUCK TAKES FOREVER TO PICK-UP SPEED. ALSO HEAR GRINDING NOISES EVERY SO OFTEN AND OTHER CLUNKING SOUNDS FROM TRANNY. I DID RESEARCH FOR SHOP AND HHH TRANSMISSION ON PEORIA WAS HIGHLY RATED.

I STOPPED BY TOLD MANAGER/COUNTERPERSON ABOUT MY TRUCK AND WHAT I KNOW AND OBSERVE. GUY SEEMED RELAXED AND POSITIVE, I TRUSTED HIM. HE SCHEDULED ME FOR FULL DIAGNOSIS INCLUDING CLEANING OF UNDERSIDE OF TRUCK. GUY SAID HE WOULD HAVE TECHS CHECK WHOLE THING FOR PROBLEMS BEYOND THE TRANSMISSION. I SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED TRUCK BE ON LIFT WHEN DONE SO I CAN SEE AND WANT A WRITE-UP OF WHAT WAS FOUND, HE AGREED.

I GOT CALL SAYING IT'S DONE. I ARRIVED, TRUCK NOT ON LIFT. TOOK 15 MINS TO GET ON LIFT. NO WRITE-UP OR ANYTHING ON PAPER, AND MAN EXPLAINING RESULTS SEEMED UNSURE ABOUT IT.I DECIDED TO OVERLOOK FACT THEY DIDN'T DO WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD BECAUSE I THOUGHT AT LEAST I KNOW WHAT TRANNY PROBLEMS ARE AND I CAN GET THEM FIXED.

HE SAID: NEEDS OIL PAN GASKET, REAR MAIN SEAL, BALL JOINTS,

AND THE ONLY TRANNY PROBLEMS ARE ELECTRICAL....ECU/PCM COMPUTER AND ELECTRONIC CONNECTORS. HE SAYS MINOR AND EASY FIXES. I SAID GREAT, I DROVE HOME AND STARTED SAVING FOR ESTIMATE REPAIR QUOTE: $500 TRANNY OR $1150 EVERYTHING

COUPLE DAYS GOES BY, I NOTICE TRUCK DOESN'T SHIFT THROUGH ALL GEARS MANUALLY. I CALLED AND ASKED THEM ABOUT THAT ;B/C IT SHOULD. I ALSO NOTICED TRUCK DIDN'T LEAK 1 BIT OF OIL, AND STILL HASN'T FOR QUITE SOME TIME NOW! I DROVE BACK AND TALKED TO GUY AGAIN AT DESK. HE WOULDN'T LET ME TALK TO MECHANIC, BUT HE WENT OUT BACK AND DID. HE RETURNED SAYING IT NOW NEEDS A FULL REBUILD ESTIMATED OVER $2,000. I WAS NOT PLEASED WITH THAT!!!

I SAID HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE????

OBVIOUSLY GUY WAS TRYING TO GET ME TO AGREE TO QUICK AND EASY REPAIR UP FRONT THEN TRY STICK ME WITH FULL REBUILD COST ON TOP OF THAT!!! SO SLIMEY......UNTRUSTWORTHY

MAN SAID HE'D TAKE THE $$$ I SPENT OFF REPAIR, BUT NO REFUND. I ONCE AGAIN TOLD HIM THEY GOT DIAGNOSIS WRONG AND REMINDED HIM OF BOTH NO WRITTEN QUOTE, NO OIL PAN GASKET OF REAR MAIN NEEDED CAUSE NO LEAKS, AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN CLEAN UNDERSIDE LIKE YOU SAID THEY DID.

THIS MADE NO DIFFERENCE TO HIM. HE DID NOTHING TO HELP ME AFTER THAT.

ANOTHER MAN WAS THERE WAITING FOR HIS VEHICLE AND HE SEEMED VERY AGITATED ABOUT HIS EXPERIENCES. I LOOKED THROUGH THE GLASS WINDOW ON LEFT AND SAW 2 VERY UNPROFFESSIONAL LOOKING BACKYARD MECHANICS PLAYING AROUND WITH PONTIAC GRAND-AM UP ON LIFT. IF YOU DO REPAIRS, YOU KNOW DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PROFESSIONAL TECH AND A BACKYARD MECHANIC.....THEY RIPPED ME OFF....

saved my vacation

I was traveling through Tulsa and my transmission was dying on I44. I pulled off on the first exit, was trying to find a convenience store, saw the sign and pulled in as the leaking tranny died.

I talked to the owner, he saw the wife, kids and dog in the car, and the out of state license. He laughed and promised to have me out ASAP.

The price was less than I expected, but I'd have paid 5 times as much to keep going. The car was in dead at 10:30 and on our way with a rebuilt transmission by 2:00.

He could have asked any price and I would have been happy, but he was actually pretty cheap.

HHH Transmissions

Price came in way over estimate. Poor service and vehicle was not ready when promised.

I show no service was given to the names of the complaintents (GARYANTRACY), either as a combonation of the names or in any individual that had those first names. Please remove this negative response as I did not do business with them.
