WrenchDawg saved the night. After being called to help assist us at midnight on Easter Eve I will give this guy 5 stars. Our driver accidentally filled the diesel pickup with gas and was stuck at a gas station in Tuscon. WrenchDawg came and worked till 3:00am helping empty all the gas out. He got the crew back on the road. He did not gouge us on price and was basically a hero. Thanks WrenchDawg!!!

Beware of dawg. He will rip u off just like he ripped me off! He screwed me out of almost $1000!! Dawg is a immoral person who is only after your $. He will tell u he is using name brand parts when he actully uses the cheepest crap he can find, in order to make a few extra bucks. He charged me $ 350 for a fuel pump that he got for $175. He said there was a 1 yr warenty on the part. When it broke a month later he refused to fix it and I couldnt get the revipt from him because he said he lost it. The parts store would of replaced the part aneyway if he went down there and got it but he wouldnt even do that because he said " he has more important things to do. I payed almost $800 for a pump that only worked for a month. When I bought another pump and had someone else install it, it only cost about $300...

I've never written a review online before, but I was just trying to look up Wrench Dawg's contacts to give to a friend in Tucson, and I saw that other bad review so I had to respond. Wrench Dawg is the BEST! I generally have a great distrust of auto mechanics, because I'm a young woman and often feel like I will be ripped off because I don't know enough about cars to know any better. But John ("Wrench Dawg") has done excellent and extremely thorough work on my car, and has always been honest and forthcoming about explaining things to me so I understand what the problem with my car is and how what he is doing would fix it. His rates have also always been lower than or at least comparable to others I've been quoted, and he'll come to you to do the work, so it's more convenient than having to drop it off at a shop. John has worked on my car several times over the course of a few years (I have a very old, but well-loved, car) and done a stellar job. He will make sure the job gets done right, even if it takes him a lot longer to do it, which I really appreciate. Wrench Dawg has my highest recommendation (which is saying a lot coming from a skeptic like myself!). I no longer live in Tucson, and whenever something comes up with my car I always wish I did just so that I could bring it to someone who is knowledgeable, thorough, honest, and fair, like Wrench Dawg.

Rip off. Please check review before hiring a mechanic. Next time i will do ..This is a very bad experience..
