Didn't look for expiration date on bag of food that was on sale. When I opened it the smell told me it was rancid. It was months past use by date on bag. Store rep said they wouldn't refund. The male I talked to was rude. How dare they knowingly sell rancid food!!? Rarely any cars in parking lot now I know why.

I was VERY unsatisfied with the customer service. I went to Vals a little over a month ago to buy a cone for my dog after surgery. Because my dogs stitches were near her neck I could not use the cone. I just got around today to take it back and when I walked in to return the product the man there told me I could not return their products after TWO WEEKS! If I would have known this when I purchased the cone, I would have promptly returned it. The person that rang me up did not tell me their "two week" policy when I asked her if I could return it if it wasn't used. The man that told me I couldn't return the product looked around the store to try to find a sign that had their return policy and there wasn't one. He continued to tell me he couldn't do anything. At least offer your customers a store credit. It wasn't about the money being returned. It's about the rude manner that I was treated and the false information I received when purchasing the cone. Sadly, they lost a customer. I walked out and just gave them back the cone I never used. NOTE: I took two other cones back to pets mart today that I bought the same day and they were very helpful and returned everything. You would think a mom and pop shop would want to keep their customers.
