Vince s Place provides residential addiction treatment to the homeless and those with specific legal issues. It has been licensed by the State of New Jersey and cited by the National Institute on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse as one of the 15 exemplary programs in the country. It receives referrals from the general public, Mercer County Drug Court and nonprofit organizations. It also receives referrals from the State Parole Board, Department of Corrections for inmates who undergo an intensive six-month program prior to their return to the community. Located in Trenton, N.J., Vince s Place is a part of Rescue Mission of Trenton, which is a nonprofit organization that provides shelter, food and clothing to the homeless. It also serves as a treatment center for men who are due to be released from jail in 90 days.
