As a child, Jordan Grnak, DO, was involved in a major car accident that left him hospitalized with severe head injuries. “The care I received was absolutely outstanding and leaps and bounds beyond standard care. I vowed later in my life to one day provide the same excellent care I received to other people in need,” shares Dr. Grnak, who recently joined Bon Secours Woodward Medical Center in Greenville, SC. Upon graduating from medical school, Dr. Grnak returned to his home state of Michigan to complete his internal medicine residency. “Internal medicine encompasses all of medicine. I see a little bit of everything and have to be able to connect with my patients in a way that allows me to give meaningful medical explanations for seemingly small medical issues or problems. To do this, I like to take time to get to know my patients so I can deliver very personalized care.” When he is not spending time with patients, Dr. Grnak enjoys running, sports, watching movies, traveling, reading, trying new food and restaurants.
