When I started at Merritt about two years ago, I was out of shape, overweight, and just plain unhappy. At the urging of a couple good friends, I finally joined and started taking some classes. I don't like the treadmill or the other machines, for cardio, but classes made the time go by fast and I enjoyed meeting other people and working out under the direction of an instructor. I'm happy to say that I lost 15lbs, gained some confidence, and made lots of friends at Merritt. The staff is friendly and helpful, the facility is clean and well maintained, and the classes are great!
