I would rate a ZERO if it were available. BEWARE Dr. David Shawa is under investigation by numerous insurance companies for medical fraud. The California State Medical Board is also investigating him for failure to refer. Google his name to learn specifics. In a separate but related topic I would not recommend Sharp Treatment of South Bay at 2557-A PCH in Torrance, CA to anyone. Before I learned of the fraud law suit, I made an appointment ten days in advance to see Dr. Kim. I could have seen other chiropractors sooner however because of the ratings on Yelp I decided to tough out the pain and wait to be seen by Dr. Kim. I was to be a new patient. I arrived for my appointment only to be told Dr. Kim was out and would not be back for two weeks. Furthermore, there were no other doctors available that day that could take Dr. Kim's patients. The receptionist said "well, we called you." When I refuted the claim the receptionist said that I could come back tomorrow. I had already rearranged my schedule and driven for 45 minutes to get to the appointment; what a huge waste of my time! Come back tomorrow, are you kidding me? If I had stood Dr. Kim up, I would be paying a fee yet Sharp Treatment of South Bay apparently doesn't consider MY time of value. Someone failed to do their job Totally unprofessional. I will not reschedule. STAY AWAY FROM THIS UNPROFESSIONAL DOCTORS OFFICE UNLESS YOU HAVE TIME TO BURN.

The doctors and staff exceeded my expectations by far...they are the type of doctors I have been searching for= NOT dimissive, they REALLY listen, VERY competant.....they do their best to make sure that you don't have to pay big (if any) copays...and provide a really cool approach to treatment- the latest and most efficient in technology and managed to relieve a very persistant and painful injury that until then had been totally resistant to treatment!! Before you have back surgery or give up on treatment--GIVE THEM A CHANCE!!!...you WILL be suprised (IN A GOOD WAY)

Massage therapist at Sharp Treatment are wonderful. I now schedule my weekly massages at Sharp Treatment.
