We have been using this firm for many years. They make the shirts for the softball team. They are very precise and the shirts always look great. We recommend them highly for your printing needs.

If You Want It Done Right Go Somewhere Else

Monday, March 1 – Submitted order for fan wear; told Mr. Ramirez (owner) I needed the order completed no later than March 24 for a tournament March 27-28. Mr. Ramirez indicated at that time he would have the order completed in 1 week (7 working days), or March 10, and he would call when it was ready to pick up.

Friday, March 26 – More than two weeks after order was promised and the day before the tournament, I went to EP to ask Mr. Ramirez if the order was ready. His response was “Did I do an order for you?” I said, “Yes. You don't remember?” Mr. Ramirez: “Oh yeah, it’s ready.”

When I looked in the box I immediately noticed the logo (suppose to be RED -- our team colors)was very orange and asked Mr. Ramirez if that could be fixed. He refused because it would “cost him money.” I indicated to him that we did not get what we asked for but he continued to deny any wrongdoing and would not talk about working something out to correct the problem.

The next morning before the first game I handed out the items to the parents and players. After playing three games in 30 degree temperatures and freezing rain, one parentss noticed her daughter’s name was misspelled on her sweatshirt (the family ordered five total).

Monday, March 29 – I took the sweatshirts with the misspelled name, to Mr. Ramirez. He located the spreadsheet I initially submitted wit the order and acknowledged that the misspelled name was his mistake, not a mistake on my spreadsheet. He asked if they could just put a white “patch” over the name and screen print the correct spelling over the white patch. I told him that was unacceptable since it would look bad on a black sweatshirt to have a white “patch” across the top and the sweatshirt needed to be replaced. He then asked me if the sweatshirt had been worn and I told him one of the five had. He began yelling at me that he would not fix the sweatshirts because one was worn and he was going to lose money because he could have sold the “wrong” sweatshirts to someone else.

I told Mr. Ramirez I was not going to ask a 13-year-old girl to play in ice and freezing rain without a sweatshirt and it was not my fault the mistake was made or that he would lose money having to replace it. He finally agreed to fix the mistake the proper way by replacing the sweatshirt. It was 17 business days later when the sweatshirt was replaced -- Thursday, April 22.

I asked again about all the other items being orange rather than red like we ordered and he again refused to offer any remedy, saying “You’ve already cost me enough money.”

During this encounter, Mr. Ramirez and I were the only people in the building and I felt very threatened. I felt very strongly the situation was going to escalate so I left very quickly to call my husband and tell him I felt threatened by how close Mr. Ramirez was to me and his anger, and asked him to interact with Mr. Ramirez moving forward or at least be with me when I had to talk with him.

Between March 29 and August 3 – I talked to Mr. Ramirez on several occasions about the bill and what I was willing to pay since the color in our team logo was wrong and the artwork on 16 of the t-shirts was wrong. He made a call to my mother-in-law telling her I owed him money, he also made calls to my place of employment and my business cell phone.

August 3 – I agreed to pay Mr. Ramirez $250 and told him we could work something out about the rest. The next communication I had from him was an e-mail dated August 30.

Monday, August 30 – I received an e-mail from Mr. Ramirez. He also BCC’d my uncle. I felt again like Mr. Ramirez was attempting to intimidate me. I responded to his e-mail again pointing out the issues about color and quality and offering a reasonable settlement. I got no response from Mr. Ramirez. The next communication I received was court papers at my place of employment.
