I have purchased popcorn at the East Hills Mall location twice when the butter smelled and tasted rancid. The first time I just threw it away. I stopped by another time and the clerk told me that they had changed to a soy based butter and I told her about my previous experience. She said that they were having trouble with some of the younger employees not changing it out like they were suppose to so I ask her if I could try it. She had just changed it out and it tasted great. So here I am again on Dec.4 2016 and the same thing happened again. I hadn't even left the store when I smelled and tasted it so I turned around and ask for a refund but was told that they don't do refunds. She told me that they sell that to customers all day. I told her to keep it and throw it away and I left the store. I know every business likes to save money and not have to throw things out but I'm sure I'm not the only one that has complained about this or not gone back to buy more. There should be some kind of mandatory and consistent changing of the butter so it doesn't go rancid.
