I ordered flowers for a friend whose daughter passed away. I cannot tell you how spectacular the arrangement was that was created for her. I wish I could post a picture. I could not be more pleased.

I recently had occasion to send a special garden basket to my brother and his wife, who recently lost her sister to a shocking and unexpected suicide. I called 3 or 4 different florists in the Tomball area – requesting an arrangement that would include African Violets, to no avail. My brother and I used to assist our deceased Grandmother as children when she would allow us to share in her secrets and water and care for her prize violets. I knew that my brother would appreciate receiving such a sentimental remembrance. I called Veronica at Cornelius Florists in Tomball. She took my order, and immediately put me at ease as I stumbled on what to put on the card and fought hard to hold back my tears. She apologized that they didn’t have any violets in stock, but she asked if she could put me on hold for a moment. When she came back on the line, she explained that she had located an off-site vendor that had 2 plants that she reserved in my behalf. She went on to tell me how she would design the basket, with other ferns, small green plants, willow stalks, butterflies and bows, all at a cost much less than the local competition. I immediately called my brother to find out when they would be home to expect delivery. He said that they had to leave within 2 hours to attend the visitation. On a slight chance, I called Veronica back to see if she could arrange delivery for this arrangement within this timeframe for an extra delivery fee. She told me not to worry – no extra fee for quick delivery. They were able to take my order, procure outside special violets, complete and deliver this arrangement all within a 2 hour time period. They are not in the business of delivering flowers, but creating memories.
