I love this place. I never saw a bad tattooing come from here. Ryan Thomas is awesome and now works with Josh Woods in Nashville. That just shows they have quality artists. Boomer is great and so is Mike. I'm sure the others are too. I don't know the girls name but I have seen great things from her too. This place is very clean too.

I walked in to see some large man who goes by Boomer yelling at another artist. Very unprofessional. His portfolio was meh. Some good stuff, some bad. The other artists' portfolios weren't anything spectacular, but decent. But it felt cold and weird in there... bad vibes. Other friends after that said the same thing.

ryan thomas did my tattoo as well as my cousins...he is excellent in listening to the needs of the client, the shop is superb in cleanliness, and the most professional I have seen in Toledo BY FAR!

New to the Toledo area. I just graduated from MSU Med School (GO MSU) and I'm now an E.R MD at St. Vincents Med. Center. I have wanted a tattoo for many years and have always found an excuse to put off doing it. My experience as a physician has also scared me a bit as I have seen some pretty nasty staph infections from Tatoo's gone wrong.



So a nurse I work with recommended me to Body Design. I was told the business was fairly new but the artists were from various backgrounds and had done some exceptional work on her. So I finally gathered the will, nerve or whatever you wanna call it and stopped in for my new tattoo. They were very helpful in the design and one of my big concerns was keeping a professional appearance do to my career.



The jist of it is I could not be any happier with the work. I had visted a few other shops in the area, no need to mention names as I'm not here to slander anyone's business, but they didnt seem as "sanitary" and the folks I dealt with at Body Design, extremely professional. No profanity, crazy music blarring, just an overall way above average experience.

Reviews are an excellent way to guage on how good or bad a business is. At the same time everyone needs to keep in mind that as with anything on the internet you need to take things that are said as half-truths. I am not affiliated with this business by any means. Only as an extremely satisfied customer. I have done a lot of research on Yellowpages.com and have noticed some trends. See the negative reviews against many of the tattoo shops are NOT coming from customers they are coming from the "So-Called-artists" from other shops that are sitting on their asses in there dumpy little shops waiting for an 18yo. to walk in and spend $20. Or they come from the guy that wants to go in and try bidding for a low ball price and when they dont get it; well they get online and make false statements such as the previous post about Boomer. So like anything in life, when your on top it's real easy to have jealous, less qualified, clowns take cheap shots at you. It comes with being the best.



Anybody that knows anything about tattoo'n in Toledo knows that Boomer's work speaks for itself. He has a portfolio that anyone can view that will blow your mind. There is a reason why Boomer is typically booked 7-10 days out on appointments. The guy's stuff rock's. I personally didnt have a week to wait so I came back the next day and had another artist, Miller, do my first tat from Body Design and and it's kick awesome. I've since been back and have an amazing portrait that was done by Boomer. All of Body Design's artist are extremely talented or they wouldnt be working there. I challenge you to stop by Body Design, check out their work, the shop, meet the artists and tell me it isnt the best Toledo has to offer.

boomer is a joke he thinks his tattoos are gold but i wouldnt let him touch me with a ten foot pole his work is sub par at best i know twenty other artist in this town alone that are twice the artist this tracer will ever be dont be fooled by his bs that place is ran by a bunch of ameteurs stay away!!!!!!!!
