I have visited many DVMs trying to find a closer office but I always end up back at Family Pet Clinic. Dr Valenti provides a practical, conservative approach which has always seemed to resolve the problem. After seeing other vets & many medications I went to Dr Valenti and he was right on with direction on change of diet to cure my cats stubborn feline acne. He also treated my son's mouse for mites. No other vet was willing to take a look at him, but Dr. Valenti prorated a dosage of Ivermectin for his little body and it worked!

Provided by YP.comWe have used Dr. Valenti for 20 years. He has treated 3 of our dogs. One stay my daughters found ended up with diabetes as he aged, I couldn't believe the great care he gave our little guy showing me how to give insolin injections, a homemade diet etc.
When he diagnosed our puppy as epileptic he had me keep a chart of everything which happened during an episode, put her on the proper medication and tested her for her levels to make sure she was getting enough or not too much. He recommended dog food which didn't have all the added garbage in it most have, told us which foods were good for dogs and which to stay away from.
Our dogs had lived to ages 16, 17, & 17.
His associate is also very good as is his staff friendly & great with animals.
While there may be other good vets also I really believe Dr Valenti, Associate and Staff are the best.

I've been taking my dog to Dr. Valenti for 5 years and he is wonderful! He diagnosed my dog with an auto immune disease that our other vet was unable to recognize. Our dog is now on daily medication and is able to live a good life. Without Dr. Valenti, our dog would have died. I recommend him to everyone I talk to.

I have been going to this clinic since before Dr. Valenti took over. For the first few yrs he ran it, it was great. Dr. Valenti really cares about animals. Recently, I have noticed a drop in care quality. The wait time until you see the Dr. is anywhere from 1/2 hr to 1 hr. (I always allow at least 2hrs total time when I know I'm going to the vet) Prices are higher lately. If you have a question that can be easily addressed via phone, the staff is courteous & takes your message but the vet doesn't return your call, no matter what time you called, until after 8pm. The staff used to put your message to the vet and call you back with his response, but now he seems to feel the need to return every call himself, hence the delay in a return call. If you miss his call, he doesn't answer your questions just leave a message to call him in the morning. I am currently looking for a new vet. Anyone know a good vet with time to treat my animal properly???
