Drove 3 hours with a check for a quoted out the door price with messages saying that, and the manager refused to honor the price. He offered to come down, but flat out refused to honor the price we were given. The girls knew we were traveling with a check and had outside financing. Extremely unprofessional. The woman who quoted the price was flippant in further text to my husband because she claimed she didn't know we had a check, and clearly, why does anyone else's time matter? That was my feeling from her attitude. Please find a better dealership.

Just bought a 2012 Elantra Touring and a 2013 Accent. Our salesperson was Stephen. He was very genuine and knowledgeable about the cars. When he was not sure about an answer he would always ask the manager. I was also impressed when he told my husband and I to go home and "sleep on" our decision. In no way did we feel pressured by Stephen. We had been to other dealers where the salespeople used profanity (sh$t, crap, etc) when talking to us and we were very offended. Stephen was always polite and professional. So far I love our cars. You cannot beat the price for the MPG. John in financing was also very efficient and to the point, when I told him I did not want any of those "extra" ins, he never tried to change our minds. Free oil changes and car washes for life if you put the Hyundai sticker on your car! That's a savings of $360 a year right there. Extremely pleased with Family Hyundai!

I was going to give them 4 stars because they did not negotiate on the Hyundai Elantra price but they were the only Hyundai Dealer that was able to get me the color combo I wanted. I went to other dealers who also like the others who posted on here who promised a discount over the internet but when I arrived the other Hyundai dealer was charging me a destination fee of $800, but Family Hyundai did not. I am overall satisfied with Family Hyundai because they did not play games they just wouldn't negotiate on their product. Janet W.

wow i cant believe the prior reviews i have read on here. They have played me with the same scam. I came to this dealership on august 7 looking for a hyundai elantra for my daughter. The salesman didnt even seem to entertain the idea of negotiating prices with us so we had to leave and think about it some more. The salesman gave us a card. We called him back to see if he was sure he could give us a better price, he said he could give a discount of $750 dollars off of a 15,250 vehicle. We came in filled all the paper work and pade the 15,250 plus taxes and other fees. Now were waiting about 7 hours, and its about 1 am after hours. We finally get to the office to finalize the deal and the man says they cant give us the 750 dollar discount because it was an error on part of one of the floor managers.......ofcourse after arguing about this for a good 30 minutes they wouldnt let up, we were there for 7 hours and we just went ahead and paid the price. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE, DO NOT BUY CARS FROM THIS PLACE THEY WILL MOST LIKELY TREAT YOU THE SAME WAY. WOULD YOU WANT TO BUY A CAR FROM DEALERSHIP THAT IS KNOWN TO PREY ON THERE CUSTOMERS?

hi, i had bought a hyundai accent from here. The car salesman was very rude to me and was not willing to negotiate prices with me. I walked out the door, then they said they would be able to give me a 500 dollar discount on the car and i agreed. after waiting about 4 hours to finalize the deal and actually paying them cash, they said they could not give me the 500 dollar discount and said i would have to give them another 500 hundred or take my money back and leave. i was extremely angry at them, they wasted 4 hours of my time and i had given them the amount they asked for and now they want 500 dollars more after waiting 4 hours? PLEASE TO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP, THEY PREY ON CUSTOMERS AND USE BAD BUSINESS PRACTICESES.

Family Hyundai was famtastic!! We went knowing our credit was below average and hoping to get a new Hyundai Sonata for our son who starts college in 2 weeks. We were denied at other dealers, but not at Family Hyundai. They did everything they could to make sure we got a fair deal and we did. My son is happy and my wife was in tears because before I lost my job our credit was perfect and never had these issues. We will refer a ton of people to you. Thank you for being there for us in our time of need. :)

Family Hyundai was very upfront about everything. They gave me great service in reference to my Hyundai Elantra purchase. I shopped around for 2 weeks and visited 4 dealers and Family Hyundai was the only one that was honest and actually had the Hyundai in stock. I will definitely recommend Family Hyundai to friends and family and will bring my new Hyundai to them for regular service. Thanks again!

Family Hyundai is definitely the creme de la creme. They were awesome from the very first second. There was no haggling, the price they quoted is the price we got. My wife and I wasted 2 days being jerked around by other Hyundai dealers and almost didn't buy a Hyundai until we found Family Hyundai. 10 stars all the way!! THEY CARE!

This is a terrible dealership with bad business practices. I went there to buy a Toyota Prius they had for $12,000. The salesman didnt entertain negotiating price at all. He did say he could get us a $500 dollar discount, so we agreed to the the price with the discount. After filling out papers in a 5 hour time period and everybody was out of the dealership, its about 1:30 am. We finally get to the office where the deal is suppose to be finilized with the manager. Then he reveals to us that they couldnt give us the 500 dollar discount and we would have to pay 12,000 including other fees. He also claimed they couldnt sell the car at the discount raTe because they would be losing money? really your profit margin for a 12,000 saLe is 500 dollars? So they said either take it or leave it....i said i wanted my money back, they would need to get it back from the cashier.....Then i went ahead and paid the price they were forcing me to pay since i had already sat there for 6 hours.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP TO BUY A CAR, IM NOT SAYING THEY WILL TREAT YOU THE SAME OR HAVE THE SAME EXPERIENCE, BUT DO YOU WANT TO GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO A DEALERSHIP THAT HAS TREATED SOMEONE LIKE THIS?

Family Hyundai Tinley Park deserves 10 stars. This dealer did not play games and got right down to business. The General Manager came over to introduce himself which did not happen at any other dealer. He made us feel like family. We got the Hyundai we wanted at the price we wanted. Easy transaction, and I will refer all to Family Hyundai.
