We are a small family owned business that has been in business since July 1, 2003. Currently there are only 2 people doing everything from online sales to in store sales. In the store we sell Groceries, dollar items, area rugs, soft plush blankets and much more. We are currently also entering the gaming sector of retail as we carry old school games from Sega Genesis, and Nintendo to the current games of XBOX 360, Playstation 3, and Nintendo WII.

The negative reviews I'm seeing about this business are really puzzling. I've been shopping at Finders Keepers as regularly as I can for the past couple years or so, and I've never once had a problem with the shop owners; in fact, they've only ever been kind, cheerful, and happy to locate any item I ask for. The store is well-kept and inviting, and it's absolutely wonderful to have an INDEPENDENT game store - the only one for miles - in this rural area.

The reviewers complaining about the store's posted policies are ridiculous too. Yes, the first time I entered the store, I was told to leave my large bag at the counter; the owners apologized for the inconvenience and explained that shoplifting was a problem and that they would keep the bag safely behind the counter. I was perfectly okay with that (and was expecting it - since there IS a sign at the door that clearly states this policy) and got my bag back, intact and with nothing missing, when I left.

Finally, the inventory is incredible for the store's location being in such a small town. I've been able to find some great retro games there, reasonably priced; not to mention the literally thousands of movies - some, again, that are older and harder to find. And in addition, the store's selection of new merchandise is excellent at well, with many newer game consoles and games available. The owner tests all products, and will demonstrate to you that they work before you buy anything.

In short, Finders Keepers is an excellent game store, the owners are very friendly and knowledgeable - go to the store and see for yourself. And what's better than having a conveniently located, well-stocked, independent store in your community? Go to the store, see the product for yourself, chat with the owners (they are so nice) and support local business! Finders Keepers is awesome and whenever I'm looking for a game or controller or even shampoo (the store literally has SO much merchandise), I go there.

if I could rate them no stars ...

if I could rate them no stars I would!! We have shopped here previously and have over looked the store owners oddness. But my daughter and I were treated EXTREMELY rudely. Upon entering the store, we did not recieve a friendly greeting, rather we were asked to leave our purses behind the counter with the store owners. When I explained that I was not comfortable with that, because my wallet, keys and camera were in my bag. One of the owners LOUDLY announced that he would just go watch us on their cameras. Wow! Nothing like assuming people who CHOOSE to shop in your store are theives. The other owner went on to explain that Hardings, another local store does the same thing. This is totally incorrect, I shop at Harding all the time, they do not do this. I will never, ever return to Finder's Keepers. Their lack of customer service and extremely rude attidutes have cost them our shopping and our dollars! RUDE! BEWARE!!!!
