This bank does not want your money, for real!

This bank told me it does not want CD customers. Last week I went into discuss my options for a matured CD on day 8 of expiration of cd, I get it, I was one day late. I was also a customer for 5 yrs. I was told I would have to pay a $56 penalty and so sorry but nothing they could do about waiving the penalty. I said wait a minute this is supposed to be the "Local Bank for Locals" again "so sorry" nothing we can do. I asked to have the bank mgr Judy call me (who told me when the bank was in BIG trouble not to worry a really great group of investors was buying in and it would be a better bank) She called me and said "Sorry" this bank is not interested in CD customers, they are into, get this, "building relationships" I told her I thought I had a "relationship" . Apparantly I had one like a divorce! I was told not to bother calling corporate headquarters as they were in turmoil. Well I tried and got a Ms Ford who said she would call me back. The result was "Sorry" 1 day late you pay the $56. I removed all my money from this bank and advise anyone who is considering a "relationship" with this bank it appears to be a one way relationship favoring only the bank and not the client. All I can say after this experience is the "sorry" is an apt way of treating long time customer.
