I guess I need to defend myself from a disgruntled vet. For 7 years I have watched the handicapped spots to keep them available for those for whom they were intended. II asked this man to display his tag from the rear veiw when he parked there. I was told "he" didn't need one, that he was a vet. He walked to another business, and when he came out he proceeded to come into our salon. He cursed in front of 3 little children sitting on our couch. Saying that "he will park wherever $&@?$&@$& he wants because he was a vet". I checked his tag, yes he is a vet. But not disabled. My answer to this man is ......Sir, thank you for your service but, YOU came back whole. Would you take the spot from one of your comrads that didn't? I don't know why the words "racist or terrorist" would be used though. I think people say that when they don't get thier way. There is nothing "anti-American " about protecting the handicap.sSo, you can rant and stomp your feet all you want, because, Sir I will continue to watch the spots to ensure they are open for the people that they were intended for.
