I got here last weekend with some of my friends. One of my friends highly suggested their astonishing meatballs and I took it, I understood why it is their best selling.

After years of patronizing this restaurant in both the old and new location, we will never return after the treatment we received tonight. We brought many new people there. had family celebrations there etc etc. Many times we received their "coupon" program cards and stickers and never used them because we put them in a drawer and forgot about them. The stickers and accompanying booklet were never ever a motivation for us to return.

Recently we moved and discovered a booklet and what appeared to us to be stickers that we could fill one booklet and receive a free entree. Mind you, we have spent thousands of dollars here over the years.

At the end of the meal we presented them to our waitress. She returned and told us that two of the stickers were for the same date so she started a new booklet. I asked "so we dont get a free entree?" And were told "next time". So I said to my dinner partner, "then lets just rip them up", in effect since they appeared useless and we never had used them before. No biggy. Wasnt going to prevent us from coming back one way or the other. She overheard that and asked if she should get the manager, I said no its no problem.

Not 5 minutes later a woman with long gray hair approached us and.....this is the kicker........said "You want me to rip those up for you?" I said no but asked her to explain. She said that two were for the same date and therefore the free entree was ineligible.

First of all, we never asked for the manager. Secondly her confrontational approach was uncalled for and inexcusable.

On our way out I approached her and asked if she was the manager to which she replied she was the owner. I said we had been coming there for years and she interrupted me and said well you said you were going to rip them up and I offered to do it for you.

I was astounded at such rudeness and lack of respect for a customer. I guess they neednt worry about it. They are always packed.

What a shame! All over a $14.95 entree!!

Our FAVORITE Italian restaurant. Great food. Wonderful salad. Happy service.
