I believe there is two sides to every story. Some of the Reviews here are not genuine. I have reviewed the reasons this attorney was sanctioned. The reviews on this site make it seem like she was sanctioned for perjury. Just because you didn't get what you want does not equal an ethical violation. To be clear she was sanctioned for bad accounting practices. Lawyers are not accountants. When you start dealing with accounting that the bar requires without the proper background or when you do not have money to hire accountants it does not equal perjury pursuant to the accusations here. Sour grapes do not equal ethical violations. Yes I am a lawyer. Don't believe all those fabulous stars you see online. By the way this is not an attorney I know well. We are not friends. People write reviews on these sites because they were not satisfied. Generally the ones that write bad reviews don't tell the whole story. We can't write back and tell you the real story because the Bar Association puts a gag order on us so we don't violate confidentiality. This nonsense requires that I give the attorney a certain number of stars. This is not about stars, it is about educating folks on the value of the stars. Based upon what I have reviewed about this attorney and lies about perjury that are being told here I will have to give her five stars since she was not sanctioned for the reasons the two reviewers claim. this woman doesn't shouldn't even get a 1-star. I have dealt with a lot of attorneys in my time and my ex-wife is on her 10th or 11th and this one, being #9 is one of the most unethical and immoral attorneys I have ever come across. I know an attorneys job is to distort the truth to some degree to plead their case but this viper will say anything, or do anything to win.....or try to win. Another reviewer spoke of framing, I would not put that past Laura Edwards in the slightest. Moral Compass....hers has a blank face with ever spinning dials. I suppose I should give a 1 star as she sure seems awfully dedicated to lie, deceive, perjure, embellish, distort, argue and did I mention Lie on behalf of her client to achieve a victorious end. Those are the types my ex-wife seems to gravitate to but Edwards took the cake....She has now been disciplined by the State Bar Association for unethical behavior involving finances and her clients, Karma sucks Laura and I would imagine this is just the beginning for her......pretty sad this type of person is out there representing her profession.

This gal tells her clients to lie in court and has a black mark from the BAR for some misdeed. She seems like a snake in the grass. She made my job easier because she actully framed my ex wife for me in court. I can now use the perjured statement against my ex wife. Thanks Laura.....
