Provided by YP.comThree years ago my family doctor made an appointment for me with Dr. Ann Ward (on a waiting list something like five months ahead) because I'd been dealing with hormonal issues for a long time and labs kept coming back borderline for hypothyroidism with a strong indicator for Hashimoto's. I was unable to make the appointment because five months later I was hospitalized and undergoing surgery. For the next couple of years I had other things to deal with and endocrine problems took a back seat. Along the way I lost my insurance coverage and everything became self pay. I moved three times in fourteen months, had several different GPs and OBs chide me for not seeing an endocrinologist, and finally succumbed once I'd settled in my new home. I asked for a referral from a local Cartersville physician, waited several days, and was then told that Dr. Ann had reviewed the information and didn't think me worthy of her attention. She refused to set an appointment for me. I was instructed by her office to instead consult an OB/GYN. I called their Taylorsville office and explained that: 1) I had seen four different OB/GYNs in seven years and each of them insisted I see an endocrinologist, 2) the only records the most recent referring physician could have sent would have been an incomplete year old copy of labwork that I'd brought in to his office on my first and only visit for reference on another health concern that wasn't necessarily representative of the entire issue, and 3) three years ago she'd thought my condition worthy of her inspection based on my former GP's files, and nothing has changed apart from my symptoms worsening. Dr. Ward's office didn't even bother to reply to me personally, instead reiterating to the GP's office that she didn't find me worthy of her attention and I should go somewhere else. The only real explanation for her sudden aversion to treating me is that I no longer have health insurance...that is, at least, my new OB/GYN's opinion! I've since learned that neither of the physicians in this practice have stellar reputations among either patients or professional colleagues locally. I do not recommend consulting them.

Provided by YP.comWaited for 1 1/2 hour before I saw a PA. To me I went to see a competent doctor not a personal secretary.
I want to try them one more time after he had to fire one of his "Personal Assistant" for dealing/using drugs for the second time. This is not the people that I would put my life in there hands.
I would highrecommendmed another doctors office and this is my personal opinion.
