Unfortunately Sal Abbate and his staff were extremely disinterested in helping us with our pooch who was rescued by the animal society. Sal Abbate puppy mill practice is no place for us or others to support. PATIENT BEWARE. This vet is a fraud and is only interested in making a buck and could care less about your pet. Since this vet clinic is under investigation by the humane society we ask that you please look for alternatives to this practice since the ASPCA and BBB also will be posting this on their own website as well.

You took very good care of Lilly when she had her tumor. Thank you so much.

Beware! We had two different credit cards compromised right after using Tarpon Animal Hospital - neither CC was used for internet shipping and one CC was only used for automatic payments. Read the reviews - all the 5 star reviews are FAKE. When we first moved here in 2011 they had bad ratings so they hired a company to clean them up. Look at the e-mail name formats - they're all very similar. Every month they have a few new names add a 5 star comment.. All of the bad comments are gone. BEWARE!!

I like this place a lot they are very clean and I know they take good care of my Chip. Thank you so much for your care and kindness we will back.

They are prompt, considerate, compassionate and very caring. They offer very reasonable fees for services provided. Prices are always explained up front.

The entire staff (including the doctors) is always polite and very courteous! Thank you so much for being so wonderful.

I hate Dr.'s whether it is for people or our pets. This vet is very good at dealing w my phobias and our Bassets.

Their prices are a little high but they have always worked with me to make sure the 5 Huskies I have had over the past 5 years of going to them have received the best care possible!! The girls there have always been very nice and accommodating to all my needs regarding making appointments, getting us into a room quickly so we are not stuck out in the waiting room for very long, and allowing me to assist them to ease my fur babies from any fear or discomfort they may have to endure during their visit. I recommend them and will continue to use them. Just wish their parking lot was larger and easier to maneuver.

Thank you for taking us in right when you guys were going to close. I can't thank you guys enough for your help. The entire staff was helpful, personable and really shows how much they love animals.

I was so close to giving up my Garfield and thanks to the team at tarpon animal hospital he is back to his old self! And he's so happy again! I'm so thankful!

I'll forever be grateful to the staff at this clinic. After another vet told me to put my cat down. Your staff helped me fight for her and in a couple weeks she was back to herself. She had a horrible infection but you guys took such good care of her she pulled through. Thank you.

You’re the best and deserve a 10 star rating. The doctors and staff that are there are excellent. Everyone is so friendly, and professional, and I always recommend this vet hospital to everyone I know!

My family and I ate at Taj Taste of India just inside Georgetown about nine years ago when my kids were 12 and ten years old. They loved it and so did we. When friends from Germany visited recently we went to DC and stayed for two nights.

They understand and treat the animals as an important part of the family, there's no question to small or silly to answer. They always go the extra mile!

Wonderful caring staff and I highly recommend this animal hospital for all pet owners who truly look for the best available progressive care.
