I have been a chronic pain patient for nearly twenty years. I saw three other pain management specialists prior to being fortunate enough to find Dr. Willem Nel at Gulf-to-Bay Pain Management about f14-years-ago. Due to the high demand for Dr. Nel's time, you may not be seen at your exact appointment time but he is worth the wait. His expertise is evident but his caring attitude is truly unique. With the current opioid situation in the United States, and especially Florida, it is refreshing to have a doctor who really cares about his patients. He is not a push over, however. He recognizes drug-seeking patients and is not fooled. But he does care for the individual who is truly suffering. His office staff is just as caring and dedicated. They know each patient and make you feel important to them. Five stars is not a sufficient rating.
