I was literally in shock just a few days ago. I called Gina McNairy, my agent, because we are refinancing our mortgage. In the process they are rolling our homeowners insurance into our escrow. Yea!! That means Gina no longer needs to go out and find the lowest carrier for me.... every year. Yes, I asked her to do it practically every year but she always so graciously appeased me. So that is no longer necessary, but unbeknownst to me Gina has been working just recently behind the scenes to ensure the payoff of our current policy financing and all the sundries insurance tasks associated with helping us get our mortgage refinanced!!
