Ok, so what you are trying to ...

Ok, so what you are trying to say is that a human being made a mistake, you had to get the correct brake line from a different parts house not 2 miles from NAPA to have your van repaired. Then, instead of returning the INCORRECT line to to the place you bought it from, you drove all the way home with it sitting next to you. Now you are bitching over company policy and calling Steve an idiot? Let me let you in on a little secret... There is only one idiot in the picture, and it isn't Steve.

terrible

i was stranded in tamaqua, pa. with mechanical problems on my e350 diesel van. i needed to replace a rotor($85) and a brake line($16) so i went to napa auto parts and spent $100, the rotor was fine. but after 3 hours, and several trip back and forth to napa. the owner steve assured me several times that this is the correct brake line, he even screwed a nut in the brake line. so my mechanic went to the napa to tell steve that this is the wrong brake line, which it was. of course it was 5 p.m. at this point and can not get the part for 3 day. now this cost me another night in the motel $60. steve(owner) has not the knowledge to operate this store, and is basically an idiot. so the next day i go to advance auto parts, in the next town over, and got the part and was on my way by lunch(thanks advanced auto parts). it doesn't end there, when i get back to NJ, i "attempt" to return the brake line to the local napa. they tell me i have to return it where i bought it (the brake line), which is now 3 hours away. even though the box says napa on it, the store has napa on the front of it, that i have to return the brake line, 3 hour drive, for a $16 brake line. so between napa and this idiot steve(owner), this cost me $160 and extra 3 hours in the cold, on record breaking cold. so either i drive the 3 hours to return the brake line or steve(owner) suggest that i sell the brake line on ebay. customer service does not exist here, compassion?, empathy? this is the problem with america, and these big companies. napa has a profit margin in the millions of dollars and i can not return a $16 part to there own store, thats how you get rich in this country f-me, f-you. i will never go to any napa again, and suggest you avoid the napa at 1101 east broad st Tamaqua,pa 18252 phone # 570-668-1790
