Capital Discount Bedding (CDB) is the first place I visited while in the market for two new beds.
Afterwards, I visited every other bed vendor that I could find in Tallahassee. After full comparison and several days to consider the information, I went back CDB and purchased two new beds.

The prices and selection are varied enough to fit any reasonable budget, including a notably low budget, like mine.

Rather than trying to get me to focus on more expensive products, Linda, the owner, asked me what I was looking for, and then showed me several beds and offered some professional wisdom and advice. She answered all of my questions, provided me a list of the beds I had looked at, along with each corresponding price, and let me leave without giving me any sales pressure or confusing information, which I did receive from two other well-known competitors.

Their delivery staff scheduled my delivery around my work schedule. They were very friendly, courteous, and professional. They also thanked me several times for buying my beds from their company. They get it!!!

I highly recommend Capital Discount Bedding to anyone who is in the market for a new bed, or just a mattress. CDB offers a sufficient selection of high quality bedding in a very pleasant shopping environment, both of which are just large enough without being overwhelming. CDB also adds a neighborly friendliness and honesty that allows the customer to relax and focus on filling a personal need, rather than having to outmaneuver a sales shark.

If I still live in Tallahassee when I need another new bed, I will go back to Linda and her staff at Capital Discount Bedding.

Take my advice; rather than wasting any precious time and effort driving all over Leon County looking for the best deal in a bed, buy your next bed from Capital Discount Bedding. You will NOT regret your decision!

The prices are reasonable..However, the bed is uncomfortable..i called and see if i can exchange it..She giggled and told me there are no exchanges when clearly stated on the receipt that you can..

Have had Beautyrest in the past and was determined to have it again. Just moved into Tallahassee from out of state about a month ago. Looked at newspaper ads. Only went to this store. Wonderful salesperson, showed us just what we wanted. Delivered next day; no charge.

Stopped in just today to check out prices on beds as my funds were limited. The lady who waited on me was very nice and when I said I'd have to come by another time, she let me know she had a practically new used bed in my price range. I was very impressed with the service I received and will definitely go back to purchase a new bed in the future. I had been homeless so getting a bed meant the world to me and I cried when I got it home.

Shopped around town and this place gave me to best deal in town on a cheap Full. Great service too!

Experienced the best service in Tallahassee. Been around the bedding industry for years in Virginia, moved to Tallahassee in 2013. Needed a new bed, and decided to check out all the bedding stores in the area. Capital Discount Beddig was the best I had experienced, and of course ended up in buying, and referring my family and friends as well. The owners long time experience is a huge dose of excellence.

When we bought our Tempur-Pedic bed from Capital Discount Bedding a few years ago we did so because of the customer service. The prices at all the stores we shopped we all about the same. The reason we bought fro CDB was they way we were treated and the advice we got while making a selection. A few days after the delivery we actually upgraded to the bed they had suggested. The made the delivery and swap just like clock work. We recently bought a new bed set for our guest room. We went to CDB because of our last experience. We purchased a full and a few days later we thought a queen would be better. Once again, the swap was made without a problem, in both cases we paid the upgrade.It's nice to shop with people that give you sound advice, not just trying to make a sale. We give CDB a 10+ on customer service and satisfaction. They work hard to make you happy.

I just recently purchased my 3rd bed set from Capital Discount Bedding in over 15 years and like the 2 before I always felt like I got the best bed for the money compared to other shops. Obviously my sleep habits have changed over the years and the advice they gave for new mattresses has worked for me. There's a reason they've been for over 32 years and why me and my family will continue to do business with them. And the next time I need a bed I'll be back.

Stopped by last week shopping for a new bed and was very happy with the service. I told the lady who waited on me that I really needed to shop around since money is tight. She said "No problem and wished me luck".

After two days of shopping, this place had the best price and knowledge of the beds and was able to deliver and set up on the same day. They even took the old one away.

I'll be back and will tell my family and friends.

Don't shop here. The quality of the beds are not good unless you are willing to chunk down $2,000 and up. The bed I bought was pricey for what I make. I guess since I didn't have the 2,000 I got stuck with a bed that hurt my back and it's been less than a couple of years since I owned the bed.

I purchased a bed here last year. One week later the bed was squeaking. Everytime I get in or out of the bed the mattress squeaks like it has been used by more than me. My husband said the bed was too soft and hurt his back. Don't have to have your bed delivered to your home because you will not receive the bed you paid for.

My husband, daughter and I entered the store with the intention to purchase a bed from them with our max price $1000. We were never properly greeted. The old woman who finally decided to come speak with us looked thoroughly angered by our entering. I drive a 2001 Honda Civic and that is what we happened to take on our shopping trip that day rather then my husbands car. Well apparently she didnt think we had 2 pennies to rub togehter because she treated us like criminals. When i was asking questions regarding the integrity of the different beds and brands she interupted me by saying, "do you even know how much beds cost?" WHat kind of thing to say is that? She also is a racist. My she would not even speak to my husband who is biracial let alone look at him. I was so sick to my stomach for being treated that way I was speechless. We left and ended up going to GOOD MORNING MATTRESS off of Mahan and purchased a $1200 king bed which we LOVE.
