I know they don't have much competition in the Tallahassee area as a seller of old US coins, but the proprietors are very knowledgeable about their products. They are extremely fair regarding their prices both when they sell and when they buy. If you have any questions about platinum, gold, silver, diamonds or jewelry, they are among the best in this area. I completely trust their professional judgment.

They have always paid me top dollar for my gold. I don't check any place else anymore. I know I can trust Dan and Paul to always be straight with me.

Good coin store

I had a couple of old gold pieces of jewelry that had been laying around and was broken. They paid me an awesome price for the gold, alot more than I expected. It made me go dig up another gold box, and take the rest of that in as well. Awesome service...

I sold some and old gold necklace and checked 2 other places this place paid me alot more than the first place offerd me. and $25.00 more than the second.

Dissapointing is an understatement when it comes to these guys!!! DO NOT take your scrap gold to these guys, they tell you that your stuff is worth nothing and then they turn around and sell it for an outrageous profit margin. I mean you would expect this kind of stuff from a pawn shop, but they are not fair when it comes to buying your possessions. Don't make the same mistake I did. Honestly if you want a fair deal for your scarp jewelry I would go to the Trading Post off Thomasville Rd. They gave me nearly double what Capt. Coin and Diamond offered. Just my opinion but defintely check around before you sell to them!!!!

I have been dealing with Dan & Paul at Capital Coin for over 25 years. They have always been up front & honest. I have compared prices at other jewelers and always come back to Capital Coin. They pay the most for my old gold and silver. And they have the best prices on coins and jewelry when I want to buy. Don't be fooled by the spartan decor. There are fancier jewelry stores in Tallahassee but there are none better.
