I have been to several urgent care centers in the Tulsa and Norman area and I can honestly say I have never experienced such poor care as I did at Childers Medical. I have zero respect for their administrative and medical staff. I will never recommend this facility to anyone, especially someone without medical insurance. The secretaries were unprofessional and the P.A. that "treated" me did not appear knowledgeable or interested in my condition. They cannot even obtain urinary test results with a same-day turnaround, and they have the audacity to charge outrageous fees for this intolerable behavior. I have obviously been spoiled by a greater standard of care that small town Tahlequah cannot compete against. I grew up in this small town, but their healthcare is definitely one of the worst I've ever experienced. I'm deeply concerned that Childers Medical is giving such poor medical treatment to this community and it needs to be addressed. I strongly advise to seek care elsewhere.

A great alternative in a town where minor immediate care is nearly impossible to receive. Dr. Tracy Childers is wonderful, and I would not hesitate at all to recommend her, especially when dealing with small children.
