Naches Trail Elementary school, based in Tacoma, Wash., operates under the Bethel Public Schools system. It offers a variety of programs and activities, including accelerated reader, challenge, choir, band, orchestra, student government, safety patrol, conflict management and library helpers. The school building covers more than 40,000-square-feet of space on an over 10-acre plot of land. It features more than 20 classrooms, a library, computer lab, office area, multipurpose gymnasium and a play shed. Naches Trail is also used as a center for several community activities, including Bethel recreation practices, Girl Scouts, parents-teachers association, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. The PTA hosts several community activities, such as fall and spring fundraisers, spring carnival and Friday night family skating parties.
