First off, I will say the exam itself was fine except I felt it a bit unsanitary. Expect to be put on hold FOREVER. The front desk although friendly, is incompetent. Secondly, their advertising is false!! I was told one thing over the phone and after exam was slammed with a bill three times the quote they announce so proudly. Lastly, their selection sucks. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone but a foe.

The owners of The Elegant Bride in Tacoma, Steve & Irina Anderson are amazing! I live in Hawaii & have bridesmaids coming from HI, WA, CA and CO. We ordered Mori Lee dresses from 4 different stores to ensure each girl could pick her dress up in her state and in time to get any needed alterations before coming to HI.

A month and a half before the wedding we still hadn't heard from the store we ordered from in HI. After calling I found that the owner of the store (in business for 28 years) forgot to order 2 out of 3 dresses and didn't bother to call about the 1 that did arrive! With the original time quote for the dresses taking up to 14 weeks I knew I would probably have to find completely different dresses for 2 of 8 girls.

As a last resort I decided to call every store in HI and WA that sold Mori Lee dresses to see if by some miracle they may have a dress of the same color in stock. After about 20 phone calls (including a store I already bought these dresses from in WA) I was mostly made to feel like I was a waste of time or crazy to think I would randomly find 2 of these dresses. I finally reached The Elegant Bride on my list. Steve was the most polite and most professional of all the stores I had spoken with. Not only was he the most pleasant to speak with, he was the only person who showed any sympathy for my situation. He offered to check for me and found that the manufacturer would have the same dresses coming in and he may be able to get them in time. The manufacturer was already closed for the day so Steve, understanding my time constraint not only offered to call first thing in the morning, but from his home! He and his wife Irina followed up with me first thing the next morning and said they would rush the shipping from the manufacturer to them, inspect the dresses and have them immediately rushed to me in HI just in time for the wedding.

Throughout 6 months of planning out of every vendor I’ve done business with, Steve and Irina were the only ones that made me feel confident that they would follow through with what they said. It’s amazing how many businesses can’t even find the time to return a phone call as promised. They completely went out of their way to find a solution for me and had every opportunity to take advantage of the situation by charging me extra and didn't. Steve and Irina from The Elegant Bride are great people with outstanding customer service and I highly recommend them! Had I known of them earlier I would have gone through them for everything!

This is the best hobby shop I've been to in years! They carry a complete selection of Radio Controlled cars, helis, planes and boats with tons of hop-ups and accessories! I just renewed my love for slot cars and they have more 1:32 scale slotcars than anyone! Their website is awesome! www.fantasyworldhobbies.com . If you are looking for slotcars, they carry all the major brands and a complete sellection of replacement parts as well as hop-ups. It's not a "toy" store, but if your looking for the latest in hobbies-check them out. Their staff is extremely knowlegable and helpful!
