We took my Kymco Scooter so they could make it go faster. When my husband first contacted them they told us their distributor couldn't get the part in that was needed to do the work, but if we were willing to get the part they would do the labor. My husband found the part they suggested and double checked to make sure it was the correct part. Once this was confirmed we ordered the part and set up an appointment to have the work done. We emailed several times before hearing back about the appointment time. Once the scooter was finished we picked it up only to find that it didn't go any faster than when we dropped it off. We contacted Mircobore to tell them about our dissatisfaction and they said they spend 3 hours doing work on the scooter, there was nothing further they would do. In the end, we discovered that there was a miscommunication between what we thought we had asked them to do and what they thought we had asked them to do. They offered no reconciliation regarding this, but told us that we didn't use specific wording to describe what we wanted done. We spent $200.00 for their labor alone, to have the scooter work no different than it did before. I work hard for my money and don't appreciate throwing it away. I tried going to Microbore and talking to them, in which they offered to do more work with no cost. In this case, we would need to spend more money buying parts. The person I spoke with told me that after buying more parts and them putting in more labor, they couldn't guarantee the scooter would go any faster in the end. Who wants to spend even more money on something when they have no trust in the people doing it AND they can't guarantee the outcome in your favor?? I told the person that I would speak to my husband about this and see what he wanted to do. After speaking to my husband and deciding not to have more work done by them, I emailed them to see if there was something else that could be done and never got a response.

This company is just like any other mechanic that you would take your car/bike/etc. to and need to know the specifics of every detail of the job before you asked them to do it. If I knew every detail to describe to them exactly what I wanted them to do, I would have just done it myself because I would have known enough about the process at that point to do the work. I want to take my vehicles to someone who is going to treat me right as a customer, be fair, honest. This is not the place for me.

I’ve had a lot of work done by them. On four different bikes. Hey everyone has a bad day but they will stand by their work. That’s a truly good trait not seen much today. Yes their bikes are a little pricey but he’ll stand by everyone of them. For that they deserve a Kudos.

I have never had a bad experience with micro-bore. Every time I have gone there they got me in and out at a very reasonable price. They were swamped one day with inspections and still did mine within 45 minutes of a walk in I can not complain at all.
