I recently had my hair foiled by Lindsey at hair productions and found her to be very welcoming and friendly. She was both easy to talk to and down to earth. I love my colors she choose. I can see how the new color blends really complement my eyes. This girl really knows her stuff, and I highly recommend her.

We were at our wits end with Tony's academic complications. Then we went to Sylvan and within the first month we were already seeing improvement. Math was getting easier! He was getting it! I went to Sylvan for algebra at the beginning of high school. I was really struggling. After attending Sylvan and being taught the basic concepts, I really improved. It was an excellent experience- always having someone there to PATIENTLY explain concepts to me! After leaving Sylvan, I went on to receive a 31 on my ACT with a 28 in math without even using a calculator! I am a student at NIU pursuing a degree in Psychology and Philiophy. My math knowledge has really helped me in my logic course. I actually enjoy my college math classes! I made it in to MENSA. All of these accomplishments really lead back to Sylvan's inspiring environment and I just want to say thank you so much. Suzanne J

I want to thank Sylvan for the way your reading program helped my son in ways I could not have. I have home schooled all of my children and my youngest was still struggling with reading in 7th grade. It was a difficult choice to go outside for help and Sylvan was our perfect answer. Our son was reading at a 4th grade level. He did well with phonics, however scored low in comprehension- especially drawing conclusions and making inferences which kept him from understanding the text! By adding Sylvan into his curriculum for his 7th grade year, Tyler was able to raise those skills to early 8th grade level and enter the private school we had hoped for as I entered the workforce fulltime! After completing 8th grade at Cornerstone, which prides itself on high standards, Tyler received a 3.29 overall g.p.a. We are very happy with Sylvan and having the reading skills broken down into its constituent parts in order to rebuild his reading correctly which will last a lifetime!
