As my son Austin who has special needs prepares for summer the only thing he has had his heart set on is getting a new guitar. The day had finally come and we wanted to patronize a small business to purchase his guitar so we visited Mr. G's.

We arrived at 2:15ish to the store and my son was relieved to see the open sign and we noticed the hours and realized that they closed at 3:00. Austin smiled.

There was no one there to help us. About 5 minutes later an elderly gentlemen entered. Instead of greeting us he said unprofessionally and rudely "don't you know what closed means?" I replied "the sign reads Open, the door was open and it's not yet 3:00". He next rudely pointed out a closed sign on a wooden divider which divided the shared antique and music store nearly in the middle of the very small store. "This says closed, don't you know what closed means?" My son and I exited the store and have no plans to return.

Supporting small businesses is a community endeavor.
