I purchased the real cream canolis for a ladies tea last week and they were empty inside. There was a dallop of cream on each end and a teaspoon of chocolate (if that) inside. Breaking them open, the entire center of each pastery was completely empty.
Besides disappointing I was terribly embarrassed.
Never again.

What a find!! This small, family-owned bakery is located on the way to the Ocean Grove beaches in Swansea. Great sandwiches to-go, and what a nice variety of real whipped cream goodies. They make great cakes too! And every time I go, I think they've undercharged me. I leave with boxes & bags for under $20 bucks. There is usually a line but it's worth the wait. Quality baked goods are hard to find & I've never had anything that wasn't super fresh & tasty!
