This is normally one of my favorite places but today, they truly disappointed me. There was a lid blocking the drain and causing the water and sewage to back-up on the floor. One associate grabbed a broom to remove the lid. She proceeded to take the broom to the back. Grab some apples - everything but washing her hands. I was curious to see which person was going to make the smoothie, the one taking the money and rubbing her nose or the one who was sweeping and not washing her hands. So the girl who had the broom started making my smoothie. As she is making my dragon fruit smoothie, the container the dragon fruit was in dropped into my smoothie. She grabbed a tong to pull it out. I stopped her right there and explained that I would need to get a refund. I didn’t want the product and explained all the things they messed up on while handling food. She did apologize but I honestly feel that food places are not spending enough time explaining to their employees the impact of not washing their hands has on their customers and their business.
