When we got close to closing on our new home, we were all of a sudden told that we were in a flood zone due to the poorly drawn FEMA map showing the wash next to our house as going through our property. Dale at Black Mountain Surveying was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process of not only getting us our elevation certificate at a very competitive price, but also helping us through the eLOMA process with FEMA to change the flood zone designation. Given the tight time frame of trying to close on the loan, Dale worked with us to get the elevation certificate done within a few days of calling. He did a great job of explaining his findings with us and went above and beyond by registering with FEMA to get us a quick resolution to our LOMA request through the eLOMA process, a service that I could not find from any other Phoenix surveyor. He has maintained great communication while dealing with FEMA and I do not feel I could have found a better surveyor to help me through this process while maintaining my peace of mind. I am sure you can not go wrong with Black Mountain Surveying for any of your surveying needs, but I can personally speak to their expertise and professionalism while performing my elevation certificate.
