Cold atmosphere, cold food, note like it used to be at all. It used to be run by a family and now it seems to be run like a corporation. They have also taken away the room where they played music and had comedy and dinner theater. Find somewhere else to eat, you'll be glad you did.

I love The Shack. The food is very good, the staff very caring, and the ambience is comfortable and clean. The menu is large with a little bit of everything, and they have a full bar with a nice wine list. I enjoy their Show Room as well where they do everything from dinner theatre, to standup comedy, to live music. They've even added an outdoor patio this summer which is especially nice since it gets a lot of sun and is shielded from the cool lake breezes. I definitely recommend The Shack...they have the best prime rib anywhere!
