Columbia Middle School serves students of grades six through eight Sunnyvale, Calif. The academic curriculum includes mathematics, science, language arts and social studies. It also provides gifted and talented education programs and after-school courses for gifted students and students with disabilities. The school s athletics department offers various sports, including wrestling, volleyball, basketball, soccer and track and field. It also has a parent-teacher organization that supports school activities, events and programs. The school also offers classes in art, band, choir, design engineering, woodworking, home science and advanced computers. Columbia Middle School is affiliated with the Sunnyvale School District.

the school is at average reffering to academics but some down sides of the school are that the majority of students have trouble knowing what they are there to do which is to learn.they get caught up in things like dress codes,popularity,etc. which is kind of normal in schools but they d it to the point in which the school is on a roller coaster with their test scores.the teachers really do a great job teaching, but the schools overview relies on the students.
