Groesbeck Legacy The legacy of Groesbeck Construction is a lengthy and distinguished one. George Jacobson founded the company in 1926. He believed in hard work at a fair price and doing the job right. Over the years, the company became well known for quality workmanship, and as it grew, so did its markets. In addition to custom homes, the company branched out into commerical and industrial construction, as shown in these photos of the Federated Insurance building. Designed by George's brothers, Jacobson & Jacobson Architects, George later added a third story to the building. This legacy of fine home building and renovation, as well as commercial and industrial construction, continues today. Since Jim is a civil engineer as well as a general contractor, he thoroughly understands structural requirements.
