I am Angela St. John and I am not affraid to post my name :) Anyway I love this place they all care for what I think and I will never go to a different place to have my hair done. I am hispanic and my hair is very difficult and I can't believe how beautiful is now. I don't understand the other people Reviews because they always have the most beautiful smile when I walk in and they ask me what I want to drink and I love their tea. One year ago I went back home to see my family and I went to a beauty salon to have my hair done and they burn my hair I cry. I after been in Colombia for almost a month I came home and the next day I called Sculptures Island Salon to have my beautiful hair back again. I had my appt and my beautiful stylist tell me that I had to wait 6 weeks or more to have my straightening treatment done again because my hair was burn and the straightening treatment will make it 10 times worse. I have so much respect for her because she was honest with me and to care enough for me not for the money she was going to make with my appt but she care for my hair and what was good for it. Another thing I am always late for my appts because I am a very busy person with two jobs and two kids and I live 35 minutes from the salon and they always wait for me but I am trying to do better and not be late ever again. Plus I have another appt for me and me daughter and I promise to be on time. I will never change the salon or all my girls there. Thank you Sculptures salon for do what you guys do best and thank you for caring enough to have your own opion and to help people decided what is best for their hair. Thank you for helping me to have my hair back to beauty and normal.

It seems to me that all the stylists in this part of the state go to the same schools for training, therefore its the same old, same old. High prices do not make a salon better. This one is quite beautiful however the service and stylists are average.

Just tried this salon, definitley going to go back A++service. Love my hair!

It is so funny about the last review -- because the same thing happened to me. I didn't like my hair and when I went back to have it fixed and I was told by the owner that she couldn't do my hair anymore because I stressed her out. REALLY , sorry that I tried different things , I guess I wasn't aloud to not like it. I would not recommend this place to anyone, and furthermore if you can't take criticism I think you need a new profession. I now color my hair myself and it has never looked better for like $10.00, I also get it cut at Holiday in the mall and it looks just as good as it ever did probably better--just because a haircut and color is expensive doesn't mean it looks good.

I am shocked by the poor reviews as this is such a wonderful salon. The staff is very friendly, and listens to your concerns and opions. I have been to several high end salons paying as much as $65.00 a haircut and this salon is just as wonderful without the high end price tag. I always get compliments on my hairstyle and would highly recommend this salon to anyone.

Average stylists. Need a course in customer service. There is none.

all i can say about this place is if you see it, run in the opposite direction. when my hair did not turn out the way i asked to have it done, the stylist argued with me!! then she promised to fix it the next day. i was nervous because she wanted me to leave and then come back...she hadn't even cut my hair yet!!(also, the haircut was included with the foil job i'd already paid for)



so i believed her and left...she set me an appointment for 6pm the next day. then, she had her boss call me to cancel, saying that i had too strong of a personality for her, and that she DIDN'T WANT to fix my hair at all. i'm sorry, i didn't know that personality was a requirement for getting your hair foiled correctly! i think she meant that "too strong of a personality" meant she didn't like that she messed up on my hair and i told her about it.



needless to say, i am stuck having to pay another salon $130+ to fix what this place did to my hair...it is streaky white instead of foiled blonde.



so...i paid for a service that I DID NOT GET. totally dissatisfied, disgruntled customer. i feel very sorry for their next unassuming victim. if you are interested in seeing incompetence, unprofessionalism, bad customer service, and insincere-hollow promises, take yourself down to sculptures island salon. what they SHOULD advertise themselves as, is INCOMPETENCE GUARANTEED!!! at least then clients will know what they're getting! terrible!!
