Truthfully I feel as though I have been taken. I would highly suggest getting someone to provide a quote. So I ended up paying this guy $35/ hr plus a $35.00 trip charge for every day. So if you would be charging me a daily trip charge I assume you would be putting in a days work. First day 5 hrs, second day 3 hrs, Third Day 6.5 hrs, 4 day 6 hrs. So in my mind electrical means that it is attached to the electrical in the house. He spent an hour ripping down lines that were not connected in the garage and simply tacked up. I could have personally done this in 20 minutes. Then we were discussing a few of the fuses and the box and there was a fuse for the fan and a welder. I stated those are not used any longer they can be removed. So I come back and he had physically removed the fan from the attic. In the process cutting my attic crawlspace entrance so we now need to repair it. So truthfully the first & only day I saw anything accomplished was the third day where he did the conduit in the garage. This was done well. I am also being charged for time to pick up supplies at home depot???? Then when I was not on location baby sitting he did not take note or remember the conversations we had about what was needed in the bathroom and did not complete the work and what was done now needs to be redone. Also in reviewing the invoice I see items on here that I was charged for but were not used and not left at the house. Go to someone else. Get a few quotes.
